Pondlick Herb Farm is located in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains of Highland County, Ohio. On the property there are meadows and an old growth forest including white oak, red oak, hickory and many native trees and shrubs. In the rich forests and meadows there are wildflowers and medicinal herbs. There has been seventy-four species of birds sited on the trails and in the meadows, including summer tanagers, blue indigos and blue-gray gnatcatchers building their nests high atop the whiteoak trees.
